Find out who supervises the centre

Trinity's is open between 3pm and 6pm on weekdays, offering local kids (Upper Primary and High School students) a safe supervised place to unwind after a long day at school or support to those no longer at school. Over 60 kids a day from mainly years 7 - 10 visit the centre and have taken it on as their own.

Trinity's exists purely due to the support of members and organisations in our local community and the fundraising efforts of parishioners at Holy Trinity Church.

The centre is always fully supervised by usually 2-3 supervisors and volunteers to ensure the safety of the kids within the centre and to make sure they are contained within the centre itself. The staff are also in regular communication with local schools and police serving in the area to avoid any misuse of the centre.

Trinity's provides a wide range of activities for kids to become involved in:

  • Basketball
  • Pool table
  • Air Hockey
  • Table tennis
  • Outdoor chess
  • Computer games
  • Internet Access
  • Board games
  • Full weights gymnasium
  • Boxing ring
  • Boxing equipment
  • Listen to music
  • Musical Jam Sessions
  • Organised after school programmes

Refreshments and snacks are also available at the centre.

    Community Involvement

Holy Trinity Youth Fitness Centre Front Side FacadeThe centre is frequented by members of the churh community at Holy Trinity so that kids become connected with local members in their community.

Trinity's clientel are also kept informed of encouraged to support or become involved in local community events.

Martial Arts TrainingTrinity's Youth Centre Gym

Kids also have the opportunity to become trained in boxing, kickboxing and wrestling with Father David Smith in the Holy Trinity School of Martial Arts. Father David has become a strong believer in the benefits of disciplined physical training for young people.

A regular event that showcases our local talent as well as raises much needed funds for the centre are the Chrisitan vs Lions Kickboxing Promotions (see our events page)

    Community Support

There is strong community support for the work being done at Holy Trinity Youth Centre and Trinity's is fully funded by the financial support these organisations and businesses provide us (see sponsor list below)

The centre also has a good working relationship with the local police who often drop in to say hello and are available if we ever need their assistance.

    Volunteers Needed
Due to the large number of kids who use the centre every day and the minimal funds the centre runs on, we are seeking enthusiastic volunteers for as little as one afternoon a week to help supervise the centre.

Volunteers will be supported by existing onsite staff.

We are especially seeking a female to reach out to the many young girls who visit the centre as we already have a good balance of male staff.
